Scholarships

As hosts of the virtual Together for Families Conference, we are pleased to announce that fifteen scholarships have been awarded, made possible by the Bezos Family Foundation and the National Partnership for Juvenile Services, further enhancing accessibility and inclusivity, bringing even more voices and perspectives into the conversation.

Scholarships have been awarded to individuals who fall into one of the following five categories:

  1. Financial Barriers and Professional Development Needs:

    • Participants from small, non-profit, or community-based organizations with limited budgets, or those who lack personal financial resources to cover registration fees. This also includes early-career professionals or those in underfunded roles seeking opportunities for growth and education.

  2. Equity and Inclusion:

    • We aim to ensure that the Together for Families Conference reflects the diversity of the global communities we serve. Scholarships are available to support individuals from marginalized or underrepresented communities, such as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) , LGBTQ+ individuals, individuals with disabilities, and those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. By making these scholarships available, we seek to foster an inclusive environment where diverse voices and perspectives are represented, contributing to richer dialogue and more impactful outcomes.

  3. Impact of Hurricane Helene:

    • Individuals or organizations affected by Hurricane Helene, facing financial or personal disruptions that may impact their ability to attend.

  4. Unforeseen Personal Circumstances:

    • Those experiencing unexpected financial hardships, such as medical expenses or family emergencies, that make conference fees burdensome.

  5. Parent Leaders:

    • Parent leaders are vital voices in this conference, as they provide critical firsthand perspectives on family support systems. We aim to elevate these voices and ensure their contributions are included without financial barriers. Scholarships are available to help parent leaders actively participate and share their experiences.
